Outcaste

Cawlers: a species of humans with animal-like traits. In this society, you are either a human or a cawler, but in a world divided the outcastes have to stick together. Stranded on an island, researcher Hoatzin Arum has no choice but to place his trust in a group of ragtag pirates and their eccentric Captain Melano to get home. But when it seems another person may be on the island, it puts the pirates and Hoatzin’s research in jeopardy.
